I have been waiting tables since the dawn of time. At my first restaurant, the menu was basically a cave drawing. Inevitably, I spent six years working at a major hotel that offered a Sunday brunch buffet.
After a long, hard winter, summer is finally making a reluctant debut. Soon we will all be complaining about the sweltering heat and our sweaty commutes, and you might even wish for the dreary winter weather.
