Hallmark is Casting Amateur Bakers for New Christmas Cookie Countdown Series

Hallmark Drama is looking for bakers to appear in its new five-episode competition series Christmas Cookie Countdown, which will feature “some of the most talented amateur home bakers around the country and the most exciting yuletide cookie challenges the holiday season has ever seen,” a news release states. Plus, the winner will take home a sweet bounty of $25,000.
The series will be judged by a panel of three well-known pastry chefs and hosted by a rotating panel of familiar Hallmark faces. Now all they need are bakers.
The show will be shooting in Los Angeles from July 29 to August 4. A call-out from Wyldside Media offers the following:
"Do your friends and family tell you your Christmas cookies are the very best? Are people always asking you for your cookie recipes? Are you confident in your creative abilities in the kitchen? If you have a talent for baking and are ready to put your skills to the test, we'd love to hear from you! We're looking for dynamic, outgoing cookie-makers from Southern California to participate in a really FUN new Christmas competition baking show! The challenges will be everything from visual and decorative, to taste and overall presentation!
