Very good waffles...However, I doubled recipe and it only made 2 waffles on my Belgian waffler! I served with mixed berries and Redi Whip...

I made these for a special Sunday morning breakfast and used a Belgian waffle maker. I didn't have buttermilk, so I substituted with regular milk and a bit of vinegar. The waffles came out quite well. They weren't too sweet, and they had a pleasant whole wheat taste (which I prefer). I topped them with some preserves and lemon juice cooked in a saucepan with some fresh strawberries. Very healthy and tasty! (And only 4 WW points per Belgian waffle!)
