Easy to make, great to eat and cheap! I made this without having to buy but one ingredient. The nuts are interchangeable, somewhat, as I used pecans. This is one recipe that will be used again and again.
Oh my goodness, try this bread!! It's addictive. You don't notice how healthy it is (with no oil or butter), you just want to keep eating! I have made the raisin version, too, and it is also good. But try the date loaf first - it's really delicious.
