How to Make It

Step 1

Stir together first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; add club soda, stirring until batter is blended.

Step 2

Cook in a preheated, oiled waffle iron until golden.

oh my goodness...these are some yummy waffles. I have been looking for a CRISPY waffle, and this is it. When you mix the first three ingredients together (I used Bisquick, by the way), it forms a somewhat thick ball of dough. But then when you add the club soda, give it a few seconds and it will soften the dough ball as you mix and turn into a nice mixture for your waffle maker. I added some vanilla extract and a little more sugar too. I am going to try the pinch of salt next time like the previous poster. This is definitely a keeper!
