These are delicious! I mistakenly use goat cheese the first time I made these and always use goat cheese now. This also works well with freak figs but I suggest you cut them completely in half or the cheese will slide out.
I made these for a bridal shower and everyone loved them! I've had people ask for the recipe even months later.
I made these for one of the appetizers at our annual Christmas Eve dinner - they were delicious! You can also stuff with a mild goat cheese and a salted almond for a more savory version.
