Topping burgers with goat cheese is an unexpected way to add great flavor without piling on a lot of extra fat and calories.

How to Make It

Step 1

Prepare grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Divide the turkey mixture into 8 equal portions, shaping each into 1/2-inch-thick patties. Place patties on grill rack coated with cooking spray; cook 5 minutes on each side or until done. Place buns, cut sides down, on grill rack; cook 1 minute or until lightly browned. Top each patty with 1 slice goat cheese. Serve on buns.

We all love these. Reminds me of a recipe I found once at Epicurious but these are easier to make and so delicious! The relish is delicious too and I've been eating the leftovers now by itself!

For how easy these were, and how few ingredients were needed, they were excellent. The patties stayed together perfectly and were just flavorful enough - not over powering. I did add lettuce, pickles, onion and tomato as I didn't make the relish.

I made this over the weekend for a group of 6 people, and it went over very well! I did make the pepper relish to go along with it. Overall this meal is very flavorful and filling, and I will definitely make this again.
