My husband has made this several times this summer. We always use bone-in, skinned chicken breasts. They always turn out so flavorful and juicy. Some of the best BBQ chicken I've ever had!
Great! Yummy sauce and the rub was good too. Not just plain old bbq sauce. Only subs were 1 TB dijon (didn't have whole mustard) and a little cayenne for heat. Forgot to add lemon zest to rub- so just added into sauce. Served with Kraft pasta salad and grilled zuc. Will use leftover (thinned down sauce) for egg roll dipping. Can't wait.
I used this to cook for a friend's birthday party and everyone LOVED it! The rub is simply awesome and easy. The sauce glazes quite well. It will also go with any BBQ sauce you choose. Certainly a recipe to show off with!
