Serve your holiday guests a festive fall drink made with pomegranate juice, pineapple juice and ginger ale. 

How to Make It

Stir 1/2 cup peeled, chopped fresh ginger, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 1/2 cups water in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Let cool and strain. Mix syrup with 4 cups pomegranate juice, 4 cups pineapple juice and 6 cups ginger ale. Serve over ice. Serves

This recipe is amazing!! I made it once and now it is requested every year! The ginger part seems time consuming but it is worth it. I put the extra pomegranate seeds in to float and look pretty. It's a tasty little snack to eat while drinking, or others just leave them in the cup. It is so bright and beautiful...darker than it is in the picture. It screams Christmas or Thanksgiving. It make it for Christmas mostly. Lovely!!

I did a test run on this tonight, to try it out before Thanksgiving. Teens and adults all loved it. The ginger syrup prevents the drink from being too sweet. Very refreshing. I will definitely make it on Turkey Day, and so will the folks that taste - tested with me.
