Test Pilot

I quite liked this drink! There were no instructions on how to assemble it, but based on the photo, I crushed the ice and put it into glasses and then mixed the remaining ingredients in a shaker and poured over. I think this is the intended way to do it? I omitted the anise liqueur for fear of it being too aromatic, and the falernum and bitters were in good balance for me. Though I can see how the anise would make it warmer and good in its own way, as well.

I was able to find the falernum syrup at Total Wine near the bitters for anyone that is hunting for some of these nontraditional ingredients like I did!

No directions. I added all ingredients together in a shaker. Actual directions would have been nice. “The directions” just describe the drink. We’re enjoying all these drink recipes, so far, not a fav bc we probably didn’t make it correctly.
