Serves 6 (serving size: about 2/3 cup)

Grab a bag of packaged coleslaw mix, and you've saved yourself the time of slicing cabbage and shredding carrots. A splash of tequila adds spirit and complexity (we urge you not to leave it out), while lime juice's zing perks up earthy cabbage. Serve on tacos, alongside barbecue chicken, with grilled flank or skirt steak, or with (or on) burgers.

How to Make It

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients; toss.

Mysterious tang

Easy and good. I'm not usually a fan of mayo based slaws, but I liked this one. The splash of tequila gives it a little mysterious tang. I left out the cilantro and scallions, and used a slaw mix with cabbage and carrots.

Wanted to love this, has all the stuff we like.  But it was just OK, don't know why.  Made to recipe except added some thin-sliced jalapeno.  Served with CL's  poblano burgers.

This is the best coleslaw recipe I've ever come across! I usually add a little more mayo and juice since I use a larger bag of coleslaw mix, but the consistency of the sauce is perfect and the taste is amazing!

Very easy and Delicious. Dressing is best served chilled. I had to buy all the ingredients same day... So the mayo hadnt had time to chill yet. It tasted alittle funky until i chilled it.

Good, quick and easy - even my picky teenager ate it. Unfortunately I had to lemon juice instead of lime. Next time it will be better. More cilantro too I think.
