Let the beans cook (Step 1) while you sleep; continue with Step 2 the next day.
Combine beans and 6 cups water in a 6-qt. slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours.
Stir together ketchup and next 8 ingredients; stir into beans. Sprinkle bacon over top. Cover and cook on LOW 5 hours. Uncover and cook on LOW 30 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Made this baked bean recipe twice and each time they were extremely watery. The flavors were good but even with additional cooking time added they never thickened at all.
