Sweet, sour, strong, and delicious, this low-carb margarita is so much better than the fake (and overly sweet) sweet and sour mix. Margaritas are typically dense with calories, but this one is made with Stevia and fresh lime juice, which covers up any aftertaste. If you aren’t being too strict on your carbs, try agave nectar instead. You can also freeze and blend these for frozen margaritas.
1 cup ice
1/4 cup (2 oz.) tequila
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (from 1 lime)
1 tablespoon fresh orange juice (from 1 orange)
1/2 teaspoon stevia sweetener
Kosher salt for glass rim, if desired
How to Make It
Combine all ingredients in a glass, and stir or shake well. Serve in a salt rimmed glass, if desired.
