1 cup frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
1 cup low-fat vanilla soy milk
2 teaspoons honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 peeled kiwifruit, halved
3 firm bananas, peeled and halved
How to Make It
Place all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Chill thoroughly.
The strawberries and kiwi provide your daily need for vitamin C. Plus, you get a double dose of plant estrogens from the strawberries and soy milk. You can use frozen blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries in place of the strawberries.
Thick and creamy - more of a strawberry-banana smoothie than a strawberry-kiwi smoothie - would increase the kiwi next time. I'd also use one less banana and more soy milk, for more pronounced vanilla flavor.
