Spicy Guacamole
This Spicy Guacamole definitely has a kick to it, but it’s not overpowering. It’s simple, acidic, and delicious, and might just be your new favorite guacamole. The spice from the Serrano pepper, which is hotter than jalapeños, gets balanced out by the avocado’s fat. Sprinkling the salt over the onion and chili helps grind the two into a smoother paste, which in turn disperses the flavor and heat more evenly throughout the guacamole as opposed to using large chunks of both. Serve with chips or as a side or topping for your favorite taco, quesadilla, or enchilada recipe. Oh, and make sure to prepare enough, because this’ll be gone fast.
