How to Make It

Step 1

Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Brush mayonnaise mixture on both sides of fish. Place fish in a shallow dish; cover and marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes.

Step 2

Coat grill rack with cooking spray; place on grill over medium-hot coals (350° to 400°). Arrange fish on rack; grill, covered, 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

Chef's Notes

When you're in a time bind, marinating the tuna steaks is optional. The fish won't be quite as flavorful if you don't marinate it, but you can add mesquite chips to the coals for a delicious flavor boost.
