How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450°.

Step 2

Place fillets on a baking sheet. Lightly brush fillets with 1 teaspoon oil, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Combine breadcrumbs and the next 6 ingredients (breadcrumbs through nutmeg) in a small bowl. Pat the breadcrumb mixture onto fillets, and drizzle 2 teaspoons oil evenly over fillets. Bake at 450° for 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Garnish with watercress sprigs, if desired.

Good, easy recipe. I've used it with trout, and salmon. I always have the ingredients on hand, so that makes it convenient, I especially like the pumpkin pie spice in it.

I have been making this for about four years now and my husband and I both enjoy it. When I make trout he prefers it this way.

This was ok but the spice blend didn't quite work for me. Personally, I think there are much better trout recipes out there.
