This dish was awesome. I ended up using a blend of granny smith, reds, and graples. I also used brown sugar. To make is more delicious and unhealthy i took the final product and covered it with a cinnimon struesel, then baked it for 10 minutes.
I omitted the nutmeg since I didn't have any on hand. Since I'm trying to cut calories, I used half splenda & 1/2 sugar. The recipe was easy to make and tasted as good as well-known restaurant dishes. I served it over french toast for a hearty brunch.
I will definitely make this again.
