Great recipe, however, to be a true copycat jalapeno peppers are needed. Here is what I did: I doubled the recipe. I substituted the sour cream with unsweetened Yogurt. I added 4 slices of jarred jalapeno peppers. I advise when adding the jalapenos, add a small amount, blend and taste until the desired amount of heat is achieved. I added more yogurt to off set the vinegar as it was too much acid for me. When I did the final taste test it was a 100% knock off of Newman's own. I am so glad I found this and I will be making more.
Delish! Like Newman's own. I used chipotle powder and just eyeballed amounts but we loved it on our Mexican buddha grain bowl.
