Serve this simple-to-fix pork recipe with buns and slaw, fill a quesadilla, or spoon over hot cooked cheese grits or toasted cornbread.

How to Make It

Step 1

Place roast in a lightly greased 6-qt. slow cooker; pour barbecue sauce and cola over roast. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until meat shreds easily with a fork.

Step 2

Transfer pork to a cutting board; shred with two forks, removing any large pieces of fat. Skim fat from sauce, and stir in shredded pork.

Step 3

Note: We tested with Cattleman's Original Barbecue Sauce.

SO YUMMY! I now have a new favorite crockpot dish. I used Dr. Pepper and Sweet Baby Ray's original sauce, and I will definitely make this again. I didn't serve coleslaw, but I did do sweet potato wedge fries (toss wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, and just a little bit of cayenne pepper) and mixed veggies.

I picked this recipe because of the short ingredient list to make for my family while we are on a ski trip. Very easy and tasted great. Will definitely make it again.

So easy and delicious! I looked around several sites for pulled pork recipes and they all had a dozen or more ingredients. With three, this recipe took seconds to prepare. I slow-cooked the pork for 9-10 hours (because of schedule) and it came out tender with a great flavor. I topped with additional BBQ sauce. My family loved it!

This is a very good, easy recipe!! I think the key is to select a good cut of meat and to use the suggested brand of sauce. My family loves it!
