I figured out how to make this amazing: start the ginger and the garlic cooking, then add the steak with it. I also added about 1/4t red pepper flakes, and that gave this recipe the extra flavor it needed Really yummy.
This recipe was great! Using the ramen noodles is a great alternative to rice or egg noodles. I used chicken breast instead of steak and I loved the snap peas! I could eat a whole bag of them. The only thing I would change is to cut down on the soy sauce and add a little honey for sweetness.
The meat comes out quite bland. I went "off script" and salt and peppered before stir frying but it wasn't enough. You should saute the meat with some garlic and other seasonings. Also, I think it was a bit too much corn starch. I'd cut back on it so it could be a little soupier. And for making ramen noodles, this seemed a bit much. Boil the peas. Rinse. Boil the noodles. Saute this, remove. Saute that. ... More effort than ramen noodles deserve.
im gonna replace the noodles with egg noodles and double the recipe because i have a bigger family lets hope i dont screw it up cuz well im only 15 and really workin on y cookin skills. !!FINGERS CROSSED!!
It was easy to make and my family really liked it. I did add an extra pack of roman noodles because my family likes pasta. I'm going to add this into the recipe rotation!!
