  • If applicable, remove neck and giblets from chicken; discard or reserve for another use. Sprinkle inside and outside of chicken with salt and pepper. Place chicken in slow cooker; cover and cook on LOW 4 hours. Remove and discard chicken skin and bones, and serve chicken with accumulated juices, or store meat and juices separately in airtight containers in refrigerator for future use.
