I made this yesterday because someone gave me okra and i figured this was a good way to use them.....I followed the recipe exactly...I did not cook for 3 hours...just 2 and then i let it sit for a day. I heated it up the next day and added some cooked chicken along with the shrimp.
It was delicious. I used the jasmine rice as suggested. Served it with a caeser salad to guests. Everyone loved it. The browning of the flour does take forever but all the recipes i looked at said the same thing....so do not skip this part.....Read More
