My husband thought these were okay, but to me they were very bland. We had several guests eating appetizers, and had most of these left over.
Read MoreLove these - fixed them just as published - even my hubby, who isn't crazy about bell peppers of any kind, ate 'em up. One thing I did was press the chopped parsley and pepper with paper towels to make sure I got as much moisture as possible out of the filling. I also removed them to a rack after baking to prevent them from creating condensation on the bottom and becoming soggy. These things resulted in a perfect outcome - whether they would have been as good had I not pressed out the moisture or moved to a rack, I don't know. But there were really good! The only reason I didn't give a five is because they didn't blow my socks off - not much does, though - so a 4 from me is pretty dang good.
Read MoreMade these for a baby shower and they were a hit. I assembled the night before and froze them as directed. It took about 30 minutes for them to cook at 350 from frozen. No one found them to be too soggy at all. I followed the directions exactly.
Read MoreI made this the other day and it was too soggy. I might try making it again after I sauté the red peppers. I'm guessing the water in the peppers made the pastry soggy.
Read MoreI made these for Christmas this year and they were so well liked, that I am going to make them again for a New Years Eve party we are attending. I made just as directed, but did add a couple drops of liquid smoke (If you do add the smoke, be careful as a tiny bit goes a long way).
Read MoreVery good & very easy, prepared exactly as the recipe stated. I took these to a party and they were a big hit.
Read MoreI had weekend houseguests and served these as one of our appetizers and everyone loved them. I added finely chopped jalepenos instead of the red pepper but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. I froze a batch so now I just have to take out a few at a time to enjoy. Super easy - I'll be making these for the Holidays.
Read MoreWe loved these! Made them exactly as recipe stated and they turned out great. Will be making again.
Read MoreThe taste was good, but everyone who ate these agreed that the bread was somewhat soggy. I would not make again due to the consistency of the bread. I even tried putting them back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes past the long end of the baking time in the recipe.

Read MoreI am not a fan of canned dough so am going to try it with frozen puff pastry dough. Five stars because it's from Southern Living and their recipes are ALWAYS wonderful to my extravagant, self indulgent tastes. I'll let you know how the puff pastry works out.
