How to Make It

I really like the taste of sauteed zucchini over steamed, & this was a more fun presentation than my usual quartered squash. The 1/4 inch slice did make it unwieldy in the saute pan although it cooked up nicely. Next time I will slice on the next thicker option of my mandoline (& will take up less space in the pan, too). Come summer, this will also be good tossed with fresh basil.
