Roasting really brings out the flavor of fresh asparagus. Once you've tried the tender spears roasted, you may never prepare them another way.
1 1/4 pounds asparagus spears, rinsed and trimmed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
How to Make It
Preheat oven to 400°.
Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender, shaking pan often to roast asparagus evenly.
