How to Make It

Combine cooked quinoa and buttermilk in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at HIGH 45 seconds. Stir; let stand for 1 minute. Top with sliced strawberries, almonds, and honey.

I like this! I was nervous about the buttermilk because I am not a huge fan of it plain- but this combination is very good- a super nice change from oatmeal. I recommend this!

I really tried to like this as is because I love quinoa, but the grain and buttermilk needed more sweetness than just the teaspoon of honey drizzled on top. I added a tablespoon of brown sugar (48 calories) and it improved the dish immensely. You can read my full review at Taking On Magazines:
