  • Melt chocolate and butter in top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring well.

  • Remove from heat. Add sugar and milk; stir until well blended. Add pecans, vanilla, and salt; mix well. Press mixture into a buttered 8-inch square baking pan. Chill and cut into 1-inch squares. Store in airtight containers.
