I used this as a base for sloppy joes made with veggie "meat" crumbles. I was looking for a recipe for a sauce with a ketchup base since that was what I had on hand, and this fit the bill. It was a little bland, so I added 1/4 tsp each of onion garlic powder, which really improved it. If I had some liquid smoke, I would have added that too, and I think that would have made it outstanding. Will definitely use this recipe again when I need a quick barbecue sauce.
