It's a bit of work - don't care if it's a pine cone or pineapple - it's the taste that ultimately matters. It's a pretty presentation - no doubt. When you're in a pinch for time - just roll it into a ball and around toasted pecans for quick appetizer.

I have been serving this appetizer for years, and it's always a hit. So simple to make, and the presentation "Wows" everyone. If the roasted garlic cream cheese is unavailable, I substitute chive cream cheese and it is still delicious. I usually serve with Carr brand crackers.

It was the easiest app. I've ever made. I used the ends of green onions also, instead of rosemary. It wowed everyone at the party with it's presentation. It was great!!!
