  • Preheat broiler. Slice pineapple into 6 rounds. Heat a large nonstick skillet over high. Sear each pineapple slice until lightly browned, about 1 minute per side. Cut each slice into 8 chunks.

  • Arrange pineapple chunks on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Top each pineapple chunk with 1 piece of Canadian bacon, 1/2 teaspoon pizza sauce, and 1 teaspoon cheese. 

  • Broil until cheese is melted and lightly golden, about 2 minutes. Stick each pineapple bite with a wooden pick; garnish with basil leaves, if desired. Serve warm.
