FYI, this recipe is incorrect. 1 cup of lemon juice would equal 8 OUNCES of lemon juice! Yikes! 8:1 ratio of acids to sugar would be crazy sour. This is supposed to be between 1/2 to 1 oz lemon juice, depending on who you ask.Also, it would be more appropriate to list the basil as a quantity in leaves, not volume - since no one will chop up basil and fill a tablespoon. Even if they did, this amount would be too little. The recipe should call for 2-4 leaves, depending on size.I should know because I work for the company that invented this cocktail for Searsucker...
