How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°. Stir together first 5 ingredients. Place shrimp in a broiler pan; pour butter mixture over shrimp.

Step 2

Bake at 400° for 25 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink, stirring every 10 minutes. Garnish, if desired.

Took your advice. It's an excellent meal with the gouda grits! Messy to peel, though. I"ll try it with peeling the shrimp first next time.

I made this shrimp recipe along with the gouda grits recipe also featured in the July, 2009 issue of Southern Living. I could not have been happier with the combination of bbq shrimp and gouda grits. Don't be fooled! It only takes these few ingredients to make a great sauce for shrimp. Take a chance and pair it with gouda grits. It's "eat out on your anniversary" food!!!
