Took your advice. It's an excellent meal with the gouda grits! Messy to peel, though. I"ll try it with peeling the shrimp first next time.
I made this shrimp recipe along with the gouda grits recipe also featured in the July, 2009 issue of Southern Living. I could not have been happier with the combination of bbq shrimp and gouda grits. Don't be fooled! It only takes these few ingredients to make a great sauce for shrimp. Take a chance and pair it with gouda grits. It's "eat out on your anniversary" food!!!
