excellent frosting but made a boatload with all the sugar..enough for more like 2 cakes.
It's delicious and perfect on a red velvet cake. But I found it a bit runny to decorate with, so if this happens to you, be prepared with a little more sugar. Also, I only used half the peppermint and substituted a teaspoon of vanilla for a light, smooth minty flavor.
Very tasty frosting and was good with a Devils Food Chocolate Cake. It was easy to pipe and dried firm. Thanks for the recipe SL!
