  • Combine first 7 ingredients in a large saucepan, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and cook vinegar mixture 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in pear. Partially cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 45 minutes or until most of liquid evaporates. Serve relish warm with chicken or pork.
