These really aren't brownies. They're more like chocolate chip cookies with a hint of peanut butter in them. I even added extra peanut butter and chocolate chips and they were still a little bland. I agree with the other reviews that they were missing something. They weren't bad, but not what I was expecting.
These need something, maybe more peanut butter, but they need something. They just lack in flavor and all I tasted was sweet. As is, I didn't find them that good, in fact we didn't even eat them all. There are much better brownie and peanut butter recipes out there. I won't bother with this one again.
Great homey sort of recipe. Very moist and chewy. Made as written except for substituting 1/4 cup of whole wheat flour for part of the all-purpose flour. Would not change a thing except to bake a few minutes more, but that may be my oven.
Quite tasty and yummy, nice change up from regular brownies.
These were incredible! I added extra peanut butter and doubled the amount of chocolate chips (also used regular instead of mini). MMM! I literally ate a quarter of the pan myself when they were done. Make sure to take them out when they're still pretty gooey and set them out til they cool. The outside sets up crispy and the inside is perfect. Make them!
Really enjoyed these-made them exactly according to the recipe. Could use more peanut butter taste by adding a little more peanut butter and eliminating the oil, and I could see where putting big chocolate chips could be good.
Absolutely delicious! Perfectly moist and amazing, the only problem was that I could barely taste the peanut butter. It tasted like a big chocolate chip cookie, although nothing is wrong with that!
This was excellent~ I however..substituted wheat flour (I used half wheat, half white)and used regular chocolate chips and added a bit extra!
I added 2 Tbsp extra peanut butter and 1 Tbsp cocoa powder. Also used regular chocolate chips rather than mini because that's what I had on hand. Came out great! I think the larger chips make these brownies more chocolaty and gooey.
Everyone loved these! I put in more chocolate chips than called for, and used large chips rather than mini-chips. Great peanut butter flavor and moist!!! I'm making another batch as I write this. Yum!!!
I made these for the first time yesterday and they are delicious! I'll probably add more chocolate minichips to the recipe, or do some kind of chocolate drizzle on them next time to dress them up a little more. Pop one in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and enjoy!
These are perfect to satisfy my craving for sweets. I almost always have the ingredients on hand. I have made them about 4 times and they always turn out moist and chewy.
