How to Make It

Cook the broccoli in lightly salted boiling water until crisp-tender, 2 to 4 minutes. Drain. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the bread crumbs and thyme. Toast until golden, then remove from heat. Add the Parmesan, broccoli, and a few grinds of pepper. Toss.

I have never really had broccoli as a side dish any way other than plain so this was a nice switch up. This would be a nice side dish to a dinner with friends along side baked chicken. I didn't change the recipe. It would have been better if the actual crumb topping stayed on the broccoli instead of having to fish for a piece of crumb and then some broccoli. It was still a very tasty dish!
