Made this for today’s brunch. Wonderful flavor & with a slight bit of crunchiness from the apples. A hint of autumnal spiciness, but really like those flavors, so never mind that it’s April.
Needed to cook the first syrup longer before layering in the pan, as it was particularly runny. Still tasted lovely.
Had lots of the applesauce-and-jelly sauce leftover. We have plenty of ideas how to use it. :)
No need for sugar.
