Top oven-roasted asparagus with slivers of toasted almonds for a quick and easy side dish.

How to Make It

Step 1

Snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus; place asparagus on a lightly greased baking sheet. Drizzle evenly with olive oil; sprinkle evenly with garlic, salt, and pepper.

Step 2

Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or to desired degree of tenderness. Transfer asparagus to a serving dish; sprinkle with almonds.

Loved this...  I made my Aspergas rolled it up in the tin foil I used to line the cookie sheet.   Then stuck my buns in the oven for 6 minutes.   Supper was awesome!!   Not over done... love this.

Here is a great hint. Sprinkle with a little sugar, garlic & kosher salt to make a demi glaze, Try flavored lemon avocado oil from Pacific Culinary in Ca. Try roasting on a BBQ instead, then add frenchs toasted onions! Way better.

I never knew how much I liked asparagus till I tried this receipe. Now I make it all the time! It makes a lot, but thats good for a dinner party. The leftovers are good as well!

I served the Oven Roasted Asparagus with the Easy Baked Fish Fillets and quinoa. A delicious, easy and nutritious dinner easy enough for a weeknight dinner but also company worthy. I will definitely make the asparagus again.
