Trade in store-bought ice pops for these fruity frozen yogurt pops for a fun treat on a warm day.
1 12-oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1 1/4 cups plain Greek yogurt (not nonfat)
How to Make It
In a large bowl, combine juice concentrate with 2 1/2 cups water. Whisk in sugar until dissolved. Whisk in vanilla and salt. Whisk in yogurt, mixing until well combined.
Place 8 7-oz. paper cups on a baking sheet. Pour mixture into cups, filling halfway. Freeze until slightly firm, about 1 hour. Place craft sticks in center of each cup, then return to freezer until completely firm, 6 hours or overnight. To unmold, peel off paper cups. Serve immediately.
I feel bad for giving this such a low rating but there is a huge flaw in this recipe. They are so sugary it overpowers every other flavor. It's the kind of sweet that makes you want to run for a glass of water because you mouth is dry. I would skip adding the extra sugar or at the very least half it. On the plus side, the actual taste of the pops (yogurt, vanilla, and orange) is really quite good. It just needs a heck of a lot less sugar.
