8 servings (serving size: 1 skewer)

Instead of grilling this recipe in a pan, you can cook the skewers under the broiler.

How to Make It

Step 1

Combine first 9 ingredients in a bowl. Add shrimp; toss to coat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 15 minutes.

Step 2

Remove shrimp from dish, reserving marinade. Thread shrimp and orange quarters alternately onto each of 8 (8-inch) skewers.

Step 3

Heat large grill pan coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Cook skewers 4 minutes on each side or until done, basting with reserved marinade.

Delicious flavor for the shrimp! The oranges weren't anything that special, mine were sort of sour. It might have just been the oranges being out of season. Very tasty marinade, will make again, maybe with peppers on the kabobs.

Very good and simple to create. Served with red and green pepper kabobs. Next time will make additional marinade and reduce to serve as dipping sauce.

We had shrimp on hand but didn't have any lemons or limes which are your typical marinade bases. I searched for an orange based recipe and came across this one. It is DELICIOUS!! We'll definitely come back to this recipe again. Would be great for a BBQ, especially if you wanted to serve a few different types of shrimp with very different flavors.

Loved these shrimps with the oranges and ginger. Went well with the Longevity noodles and the Lion's Head meatballs. Served at a party, received favourable comments and how surprised they were in liking the roasted oranges. Blood oranges were used, my mistake but is just as good.
