Orange juice and cranberries lend a bit of festive flair to the classic gin and tonic, making Orange-Cranberry Gin and Tonic the party perfect cocktail.

How to Make It

Step 1

Muddle orange rind strip, fresh cranberries, and sugar in a cocktail shaker. Add ice cubes, gin, and fresh orange juice. Cover with lid, and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled (about 30 seconds). Pour into an 8-oz. glass; top with tonic water. Serve immediately.

Step 2

*Frozen cranberries, thawed, may be substituted.

I think the gin cranberry combo is underestimated. Delicious recipe, the fizz adds a lightness and freshness...Thanks! I made a version that included fresh squeezed OJ and a hint of cinnamon infused in the gin: Cranberry, saddle up.You’re pulling double duty at my place | J is for Judy! http://jisforjudy.com/cranberry-orange-gin-martini/ Happy Holidays!
