Orange-Banana Smoothie
This creamy, refreshing, orange-banana drink is great for breakfast, after a workout, or as a midday pick-me-up. Use any flavored yogurt you like--strawberry makes the smoothie pink, while blueberry turns it purple.

This smoothie has a good but mellow flavor and I like it because I don't get any seeds like I would with strawberries or blueberries. The consistency was between a smoothie and a juice. Next time I will freeze the banana slices first and that will make it a lot creamier. YUM!
I made this one day and strictly followed the recipe. It wasn't Amazing. So the I added some more Orange Juice and Cinnamon. Then I added 3 Ice Cubes in the cup after its blended. It made it 100% better. The banana made it sweet and the orange made it tart which I really liked. I read the other comments and was iffy about making this. But I'm happy I did. I LOVED it with my little alterations. :) I'm young and my family and I are very picky. So I like this because it is delicious and healthy. 8 out of 10.
I love this recipe. I think it is delicious and refreshing. I have made a few changes/additions. I use about 2/3 cup o.j. and 1/3 cup soy milk. This makes it a bit more creamy. I use greek yogurt to give it extra protein (15 grams in 2/3 c. yogurt!). And, I love to add a couple handfuls of fresh spinach. Surprisingly, it has about zero taste in the smoothie and you're getting some greens! I also added a teaspoon of ground flax seed and liked that. Enjoy!
Made this smoothie when I had wisdom teeth removed and couldn't eat solid food. Not spectacular, not terrible...just somewhere in between! Very easy to put together though, and adding ground flax seed makes it extra nutritious. Might make again sometime.
This is a great, healthy breakfast smoothie. There are a couple of things to remember though: 1) It is not a dessert, so don't expect it to taste like one. 2) If it has the consistency of vomit, you may need a new blender. I would definitely make it again. For variety you can substitute skim milk for the orange juice and add some strawberries. Yum!
I would make it again it is nothing special but a good recipe for a quick smoothie...I used plain yogurt and Added 2 tablespoons honey and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla I also increased the cinnamon to 1/2 teaspoon all of which I think increased the lack of flavors the others were complaining about
