Great cookies! Cut down the white sugar to almost nothing and they still came out beautifully.
Really great recipe! This has the texture I was looking for. It makes a great base for any cookie recipe. I tried it without the chocolate chips and added lemon zest and extract for a lemon cookie (delicious). I also replaced the chips with macadamia & w/c (also very delicious). And I added oatmeal to another batch... and peanut butter too! The only real change i made to the recipe is using only brown sugar and add an egg yolk.
These cookies are really good. Though they smell weird when making them, they bake up to have a great texture and yummy flavor. Next time I’m going to try using whole wheat flour to make a more healthy cookie.
