As an Oatmeal cookie delishious recipe. Just stay await from the Cream Filling, it's horrible.
Try with a cup of good quality chocolate chips stirred into the cookie batter. Yummy!
I can promise you that the words "Cream Filling" were not in red several days ago, and you could not link from the black lettering. Searching the site for "Cream Filling" did not work, either. Apparently, the complaints DID work, since the link is now provided. Also, thanks to readers who posted the recipe for the filling before My Recipes did. Seems like reviewers on both sides were very upset about the whole issue. The degree of concern may be a little surprising, but there WAS an issue--it wasn't a lack of noticing a link.
BrinaBear I couldn't agree with you more I think more of the cookie dough ended up in my belly than the oven. This was a delicious and simple recipe. I made the cream filling for the cookies but decided I liked the cookies better without the cream filling. I left it on the side and those who wanted cream could put it on the cookies themselves. Very good recipe. I added walnuts because IMO oatmeal cookies are not oatmeal cookies w/o walnuts :)
UNBELIEVABLE! REALLY FOLKS???? Lets jump on the whining bandwagon rather than use our brains.. how IGNORANT can someone be. CLICK THE WORDS "CREAM FILLING" and WOW it links to the recipe. Why is this a hard concept? My 10 year old gets it. And even worse SOMEONE POSTED IT and your still b***hing. SMDH!
My goodness people ! Click , where it says cream filling in red. it will open up with the recipe
People! Under the list of ingredients, above the word "Preparation" you will see Cream Filling in red print...click on it!
Very good...easy to make! Am I the only one who sees the recipe link for the cream filling printed in "red" directly under the list of ingredients?? It's not that earth-shattering if you just look!
You should always print the entire recipe. Otherwise, what's the point? You are just wasting my time.
Cream Filling recipe is located here: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/cream-filling-10000001585212/ No thanks to the site or its search function; someone in an earlier comment located this. This looks like it has potential, since it doesn't have shortening. I may revise my rating after I make this.
For Cream Filling, combine 1 stick of unsalted butter and 1 2/3 cups confectioners' sugar in a bowl and beat at low speed until blended. Then beat at high speed until mixture is fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract and 2 cups marshmallow cream; mix at low speed until blended well. (Makes 2 1/3 cups)
Sounds very interesting but could you please add the recipe for the cream filling. This site needs a good proof reader.
Wow - losing respect for this site. Requests since May to correct the posting and compete the recipe have been ignored....talk about creating BAD WILL...unfortunate!
I believe I located the link to the cream filling recipe... http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/cream-filling-10000001585212/ I haven't tried this recipe, so I only gave it 2 stars (for potential)
WHERE'S THE RECIPE FOR THE CREAM FILLING???
Where is the cream filling recipe? The cookies are worthless without it. How could you forget?
I found this recipe from 2003 which would be great with this, I think, as it discusses using store bought oatmeal cookies. I will try it when it cools off... way too hot to bake today! Here's the link: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/coconut-cream-pies-10000000656163/ The link does not appear to work by clicking; you'll have to copy and paste. The words "cream filling" were NOT red earlier today.
Okay, I'm with everyone else - what is the recipe for the cream filling? I will give this a great rating now and will give another rating once I have found a recipe for the cream filling and made this cookie.
I got excited when I received this recipe and thought I'd try it, but there is no ingredient list or recipe for the cream filling. I looked all over this site and could not find the recipe. After writing to myrecipes, they have added a link to the cream filling. Thanks guys!

I made these and brought them to a family gathering. People couldn't say enough about them. They were a huge hit! I will make these again and again!
Incredibly amazing and surprisingly easy! Tasty, scrumptious and delicious. A+
I came upon this recipe years ago when it was first featured in a Cottage Living Magazine! I still have the torn out page and have made these cookies dozens of times! They are by far my husbands favorite cookie and every time I make them to take somewhere I have to make an extra batch just for him! When asked to bake a dessert by friends and family these are almost always requested! Lastly, there is nothing that needs to be changed in the recipe, if you follow it exactly you will never fail! Especially good when the cookies are baked on a baking stone, just add a few extra minutes to the baking time! These are really easy to make!
These were phenomenal! I couldn't stop eating the cookie dough before putting it in the oven. The cookies tasted even better than the dough! I was so shocked. Definitely the best oatmeal cookies I've ever tasted. And the cream filling was heavenly. Needed to make a little extra cream though... maybe that's just because my family likes a lot in their oatmeal cookie sandwiches.
