Easy to make and great flavors. I think I'll try it with Polenta next time.
This recipe will be one of my standbys. Good stuff.
This recipe is a delicious version of traditional BBQ shrimp! I follow the recipe exactly except for maybe a bit more hot sauce, because I love things really spicy.
I am so happy to find this recipe again. I made it years ago and it always got rave reviews. Easy and delicious.
Good spice blend, marinated 4 hours, cooked 10 minutes. Almost didn't get to taste it and my wife and daughter are very iffy about spicy and hot. Didn't stop them from grabbing the shrimp. The few I got I added a little more hot sauce .
I love this recipe! I've used it many times, but always peel the shrimp before cooking since it's so messy.
This is fabulous. We make this every Friday night and for guests. Always a hit.
I pulled some shrimp out of the freezer for dinner and then checked my recipe file for some ideas. I had all the ingredients for the New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp. What a treat we had. This was like being back in New Orleans at Pascale Manales. I followed the recipe exactly as written except I only used two pounds of shrimp. Quite messy but well worth it. My husband was thrilled with it and can't wait to have it again. The shells flavor the dish and make for a casual atmosphere to dine with friends. A loaf of French bread is a must to sop up the extra sauce.
I cut the shrimp in 1/2 but still made all the sauce. My husband kept telling me how great it was and we thought we already had a great bbq shrimp recipe but this is definitely better. I am not sure if my shrimp were too small but they did overcook a little. Next time I will be a little more careful w/the time. Cannot wait to put in mason jar and take to the beach next week!
Loved this dish and so did my guests. Followed the recipe except for the Creole seasoning which I didn't have and substituted Bay seasoning which worked very well. I made a point of using unsalted butter after reading the review that said it was too salty. It was excellent. Definitely will do it again.
On my few trips N.O. I have eaten this dish everyday while there. I made this last night and my husband and son love it. I used Old Bay instead of Creole seasoning. Was delicious!!!
