Inspired by the signature mint mojito iced coffee from Philz Coffee, this refreshing, creamy iced beverage is the only way you're going to want to get your caffeine come warmer weather. All it takes is a simple muddle of fresh mint and raw sugar, combined with your espresso and cream, to make this deliciously cooling sipper that any java-drinker is sure to love. If you can't get your hands on espresso, go ahead and brew a pot of strong coffee instead.
2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
2 teaspoons turbinado sugar
2 ounces espresso (or 4 oz. strong brewed coffee)
1 cup cubed ice
2 tablespoons half-and-half
How to Make It
In a glass jar, use the bottom of a wooden spoon to muddle fresh mint leaves and sugar until mint is thoroughly bruised and fragrant.
Pour espresso over mint mixture and top with ice, half-and-half, and a sprig of mint.
