How to Make It

1 cup or 2-2/3 oz or both??!!

The recipe says to use:  1 cup (2 2/3 oz.) elderflower liqueur.  What does this mean?  1 cup is 8 oz.  Why is 2 2/3 oz in parentheses?  The directions don't seem right, even if it's supposed to 2-2/3 oz.  2 cups ice cubes, 1 cup of wine, 1 cup of raspberries and some amount of elderflower liqueur make 3 cups?  I think it makes more than 3 cups.
