Low in calories, fat, and cholesterol but rich in decadent chocolate flavor, these brownies tout the heart-health benefits associated with coffee and dark chocolate.

How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°.

Step 2

Coat bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray.

Step 3

Combine sugar and next 8 ingredients in a bowl.

Step 4

Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Add flour and dark chocolate to cocoa mixture, stirring just until blended. Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

If you are an extreme dark chocolate fan, this recipe is for you! Simply amazing!! LOVE IT!! Extremely chocolaty & rich! Modifications: used a bit less than 1/2 cup of sugar (don't like sugary desserts), whole wheat flour (did not affect the recipe whatsover) and a bit more water. Also used an 80% dark chocolate bar. Took less than 30 minutes in the oven. Decadence for real! Melts in your mouth type of brownie! It's light, healthy, dark, moist, and rich! What more can I ask for? Thank you :)

These are delicious! I doubled recipe and put in 9x13 pan baked 30 min & checked til done. If you love coffee & dark chocolate you will love these & you will need a glass of milk because it is that chocolatie and fabulous.
