Makes 7 1/2 cups (serving size: 1/4 cup)

Serve with nonfat vanilla yogurt for a creamy-chewy treat.

How to Make It

Step 1

Combine first 9 ingredients; spread on 2 pans coated with cooking spray.

Step 2

Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring 3 times. Cool. Stir in dried fruit.

Step 3

NOTE: Store in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.

I have been making this recipe since it was first published!!! I have given it as gifts at the holidays to friends. My grandson just loves it! I make it up and put it in the freezer and use it from there on my yogurt every morning. I agree with the other reviwer that said homemade is much more flavorful. I have made it exactly as stated for almost 10 yrs. Sometimes I use different nuts.
